The EcoArt Collective (aka the Pickle Sisters), invite you to step into the creative space in the Men’s Shed.
A space rooted in care, fun and collaboration – a place of imagination, wonder and discovery.
EcoArt plays a crucial role in promoting environmental sustainability through art. By raising awareness, encouraging sustainable practices, and involving communities in creative projects, EcoArt fosters a deeper connection to the environment and an awareness and knowledge of how we become guardians of our place in it.
Gradually, there’ll be more workshops offered but for now, it’s a place to slow down, chat and be creative.
There’s no social media > just word of mouth and some Whatsapping:-)
This is more of an Analogue Adventure, open to everyone.
A recent book I’ve discovered by the late Dr James Doty called ‘Into the Magic Shop’ gives a definition of what he calls, the ‘Alphabet of the Heart’ – Compassion / Dignity / Equanimity / Forgiveness / Gratitude / Humility / Integrity / Justice / Kindness / Love …… the values we all hold dear and attempt to live by 🙂

In the Men’s Shed, Cross Street, on the corner with Frederick Street.
We meet every Thursday 10.30a.m until 1ish
Maybe you’re working on something at home?
Sure bring it along – it’s more fun creating with others:-)
P.S. we’ve music in there too now, if you’ve any Cd’s you’d like to listen to or have a wee bop:-)
Someone said a day without dancing is a wasted day – or something like that 🙂
