Killyleagh and District Family History Society

Purpose & activities

We are one of nine branches of The North of Ireland Family History Society, Reg’d charity NIC106071. Our aims are to encourage private and public study of family, local history, and genealogy, particularly focussed on the nine counties forming the province of Ulster. Collectively, we have over 1000 members both in the UK and across the world.

When & where

Meets first Monday of the month between September and May, with occasional additional Zoom meetings and arranged outings. Meetings are usually held in the Killyleagh Masonic Hall, 50 High Street, Killyleagh, BT30 9QF.

Branch AGM held in May.

Volunteers are connected by WhatsApp, and we have regular committee meetings during the year.
