Competitors from St Ayles Skiff Rowing Clubs from all over the UK, the Netherlands and Ireland descend on County Down to compete in this increasingly popular sport, in 2024 over 1100 rowers took part. Rowers aged from 11 yrs – 90 row in 1K and 2K races on the Quoile Estuary and this year the event has been brought forward to prepare competitors for Skiffie Worlds 2025 in July.
