Local Policing is one of the largest departments within the Police Service, comprising frontline officers and specialist staff. They are responsible for Keeping People Safe across our 11 Policing Districts, which mirror District Council boundaries.

Urgent Care Centre: consultant-led service dealing with many common ailments people attend an Emergency Department for. Monday–Friday, 8am-6pm. Appointment only basis. NOT equipped to treat cardiac pain, strokes or major accidents.

Minor Injury Unit: nurse-led and currently operates Saturday-Sunday, 9am-5pm.
